Ask mom if you can move the Taurus out of the garage so that you can do some work on the Z. Put it on jackstands, remove the wheels, and something else that makes it appear to be under some major construction. Then just leave it there for a few months. Tell her you cant move it until you can save up enough money to get come new intercoolers or turbos because they do not boost properly up to 17 psi.... :) You know, throw some crazy bassacwards jargon at her. How you like me so far? Sure you will have to hear moms whine about moving it, but atleast the Z will be safe from the elements. Give it a try, worked for me for like 6 months. Maybe she will even say "how much $$ do you need for those turbo cooler thingies" and give you a couple Gs to move the car out. Either way you win!
